Product Divisions are used to create groups of like product categories. These divisions can be created anytime before or after product categories are created. To make use of these divisions in your catalog navigation you must include the "Fine It Fast" navigation option in your navigation bar.

Following is an illustration of the product division administration page.

You may add as many divisions as you need to create a simple product navigation for your customers. 

To create a new division enter the division name in the blank text box and choose the "Save New" button. The division name is the text that will be used to create the descriptive name of the division in the navigation dropdown list.

To change a division name, change the division name text and choose the appropriate "Save Changes" button. Only one division name can be changed at a time.

Once your divisions are defined you will have access to the division list in the category definition / edit area.

You may assign any main category or sub-category to ANY top level Division.
