WYSIWYG Content Editor: There are a number of administration
pages that let you define content for your catalog using our WYSIWYG
editor. This editor is set up much like your typical word processing
program. Much of the site content is managed by Cascading Style Sheets.
However, when you enter your information in the WYSIWYG editor you can
change the formatting if you choose.
Following is a list of administration (Site Setup) pages that use the
WYSIWYG editor.
- Edit Site Header: Allows you to create / edit the header for your
catalog site.
- Edit Site Footer: Lets you create / edit the footer for your
catalog site.
- Edit User Navigation 1 & 2: User navigation sections can be
added to your site navigation bar(s). (See Set Navigation Bars)
- Edit Receipt Header: This header is displayed on the order receipt
page.
- Set Site Privacy Text: This is your site terms / conditions and
privacy statement.
- Set Site RMA Text: This information is displayed on the LetMeShop
RMA page if you choose to use the RMA.
- Set Site Affiliate Information: This information is displayed on
the Affiliate home page

Special Notes: While most of the editing
selections are very similar to typical word processing editing there are
a few exceptions that you should note.
-
The Web Link feature requires a fully qualified URL
(http://www.domainname.com/filename.htm). It also assumes that the
link will open in the current window. If you wish to open the link
in a new window you will have to manually edit the html (WYSIWYG -
HTML Code Switch) to insert a "target=_blank" statement.
-
Insert Image opens a popup window that lets you add
an image. You can use either a fully qualified URL (http://www.yourdomain.com/images/imagename.gif)
or a relative link (/userimages/imagename.gif) if the image is on
your site. The popup window also includes a "Browse Files"
button that will open a new window which displays all of the folders
and files on your site. Clicking any of the "Choose File"
links will enter a relative link to that image in the appropriate
text box.
-
Insert Table is a simplified HTML table creator.
Editing the table cells and rows can only be done in the HTML
Source.
-
WYSIWYG - HTML Code Switch will toggle you back and
forth between the HTML Source Code editor and the WYSIWYG editor.
